 For horohupu we trained by learning to catch the poi and how to throw and most importantly we learned to have fun Even though we all wanted to go to the competition but only some of us got picked.I was one of the people who were picked to go.I was so excited.On comp day one of our first team we played against game were central .WE placed 2nd .

surfing trip

?Term one we went on EOTC It was surfing day yus! At first it was a struggle for me but then i got the hang of it yay I was on my knees on the board slow and steady I jump up I was extremely proud of myself .

EOTC / cookes cove

Step by step Me and Chloe Hope out of the tuck I say it's a nice sunny day to go for a walk up in cookes cove.If you don't know where cookes cove is .it's in tolaga bay it's about a 4k walk a fun fact is that cookes cove was where captain james cook landed and that where the cove got it name We arrived first ready to go .We start walking Up the hill down the trail.Finally we reach a great view. we could see the hole in the rock and the swimming area  where captain cook landed.Yus! Downhill rush I go down hill with chloe where there the girl go get changed into togs in the tiniest cave  covered in mud .ready dive in the beach i get splash! Next minute I know that there's a strong current pulling us out I grab onto Kassidy she pulls me in.It looked like everyone was going to float out out to sea fewf get out time.Im dressed Ready for a long walk.

In shock I stood there glancing at the the trash left on the school property from someone who doesn't care about the environment.We talked about how we could reuse our plastic or by reusable things.There is a saying.Save the turtles !If you live in Gisborne Go check out the environment center and check out the reusable items they sell metal straws wooden spoons and more.How would you feel if you saw all this trash dumped at your school.
